League-leading Toronto Six defeats Buffalo Beauts to win 5th straight

Leah Marino scored twice in the Toronto Six’s 6-1 victory Saturday over the visiting Buffalo Beauts.

Mikyla Grant Grant-Mentis had an assist and a goal for the Six, who won their fifth straight win. This forward is leading the Premier Hockey Federation with six goals this season and 11 assists.

Toronto also has Taylor Day, Amy Curlew and Maegan Bees scoring for the PHF at 8-1-1.

Elaine Chuli, goaltender stopped 26 out of 27 shots and won the victory.

Maegan Beres completed a smooth passing play to give the Six a 4-0 lead in what would be a 6-1 victory over Buffalo. 0:45

At 1-5-0, Buffalo’s only goal was scored by Cassidy MacPherson.

Beauts starter Carly Jackson conceded four goals on 16 shots. Lovisa Berndtsson was the only one who saved 22 shots.

Buffalo is again at home Sunday in Toronto
