After Wednesday’s arrest, Chiefs LB Willie Gay will face the Bills on Sunday

Willie Gay Jr. will be playing in Sunday’s Divisional round matchup between Bills and Chiefs.

Andy Reid, Coach, told reporters the news on Friday, less 48 hours after Gay was detained for misdemeanor criminal damages in Overland Park. Maxx Lepselter Gay’s representative told Ian Rapoport, NFL Network Insider, that Gay had an argument with his mother at her home and he broke a vacuum.

Gay pleaded not guilty and posted a $1,000 bond on Thursday.

Reid said Gay returned to practice on Friday to prepare for the postseason match against Buffalo.

This season, the linebacker has been a starter in 11 of 12 games. He recorded 48 tackles, two interceptions and 0.5 sacks. When they try to contain Buffalo’s powerful offense, he and the Chiefs have a lot of work ahead.

Sunday, June 6, at 6:30 pm, the Chiefs will host the Buffalo Bills in Divisional Round. ET.
