Chychrun to The Bruins?

There has been a lot of talk about Chychrun over the last week. He is having a difficult season with a poor Coyotes team. Through 26 games, he has a plus/minus score of minus29. Despite his poor year, he has shown that he is still a great player and many teams are now interested in him.

Joe HaggertyHe believes that the Bruins are interested in Chychrun and that it makes sense considering their lack of talent at the left side. Although many will not agree that the team needs a second-line centreman, it would be very interesting to add Chychrun. He has a cap hit just $4.6million with three seasons left, and he scored a league-leading 18 goals at the back end of last season. The asking price won’t be cheap, but it may be worth checking on for general manager Don Sweeney.

Zboril, who was 13th overall in 2015’s draft, seemed to feel more at home at NHL level. In 10 games, Zboril had three assists and played just 16 minutes per game. This is a devastating development for the Czech defenceman, who is on his final year of a 2-year contract.

Up Next for the Bruins

The Bruins are scheduled to play the Penguins on Dec. 27, as mentioned previously. On Wednesday, they will face the Ottawa Senators. Then, they will take on the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday. And then the Detroit Red Wings (on Sunday). They have a fairly easy schedule, which could help them get back in the playoffs. At the moment they are three points behind Red Wings for last wild-card spot in the Eastern Conference.
