Trader Joe’s Organic Orange Strawberry Banana Juice

Trader Joe's Organic Orange Strawberry Banana Juice
Sandy and I have gone over a month without visiting Trader Joe’s. It’s hard for me to believe it dear readers. We were too busy with our newborn, and there was an incredible amount of homemade food coming from friends, so we couldn’t go. This is not the most amazing thing about it. We came back to the store about a week ago with a few supplies. We bought snacks and drinks, and then went to farmer’s markets to get meat and fruits. After looking through all of the aisles, we were pretty much empty handed. There didn’t seem like anything we could find. It would be easy to think that the sample station would save us, but it was the green juice from the plants that proved that we aren’t that mobile. What was the food sample? The food sample?

So, anyways, We settled for a juice that I’d seen once before, Trader Joes Organic Orange Strawberry Banana Juice. I think I have written before about my juice addiction. Nathan is a sweet juice addict, so it baffles me that this juice has not been reviewed yet. It’s really great. It appears to be a base made of grape juice, orange juice and grape juice. (Why don’t they add grape juice these days?) With pureed bananas and strawberries added in. Or so they claim. They are definitely delicious, but I still think about pureed fruits and the chunky bits in them. This smooth blend is completely different. It is sweet, fresh, clean, and refreshing. You can also make smoothies with it or use it as a mixer.

Like most liquid refreshment, I like it more than my wife. Sandy made some comments about the smell of bubble gum and didn’t scold me for drinking too much. She gave it a rating of 3.5. It’s delicious and organic, which I enjoy, so I can feel less guilty about it as I sip it down. Good stuff. It saved our maiden TJ journey as a family with three…let’s call it a 4.5.

Bottom line: 8 out 10 golden spoons for Trader Joe’s Organic Orange Strawberry Banana Juice
