The Denver Broncos are hoping to interview Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy for their head-coaching vacancy.
Eric Bieniemy, Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive coordinator, could be the one who turns around the division rival Denver Broncos.
Bieniemy is free to choose which NFL head-coaching job he wants, but one would expect him to be at the top of the list for replacing Vic Fangio in Denver. Bieniemy was instrumental in creating one of the most explosive offenses on football. Bieniemy, despite Denver being a division rival has a strong connection with Colorado from his Colorado days.
Bieniemy should have a head coach opportunity during this cycle. This is why it might be Denver.
Denver Broncos intend to interview Eric Bieniemy in regards to their head-coaching job
He has not worked or played for the Broncos, but he was drafted out of Colorado by the rival Chargers. There, he is considered one of the most important players in Buffaloes’ history. Not only is that, but he was with Kansas City during the greatest run of franchise history. Since Peyton Manning was quarterback, Denver has never beaten the Chiefs.
Bieniemy will ultimately have the opportunity to choose from a variety of head-coaching positions this cycle. It would seem that he would be an ideal candidate to replace Matt Nagy (Chicago) or Mike Zimmer (Minnesota). Bieniemy was a Vikings coach before moving to Kansas City. Bieniemy could be the right fit for Denver, even though they may be looking elsewhere.
The Broncos need to beat the Chiefs. Why not take a piece from Kansas City?
