The NFL did not penalize Antonio Brown for his last-minute outburst

Antonio Brown did not receive a punishment from the NFL for his actions during the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – New York Jets game.

Antonio Brown will be remembered as the most wild week of the 2021 NFL season. After a disagreement with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers coaching staff, the wide receiver stormed off the field shirtless in the middle of the team’s game against the New York Jets. That ultimately led to Brown’s release days later.

Brown may have been cut by his Bucs team, but he isn’t being punished by the league. Ian Rapoport, an NFL Network insider, tweeted on Saturday that Brown wasn’t fined for taking off the helmet, shirt, gloves, and shirt and walking off to the sidelines.

Brown released a statement a few days after the incident stating that he had suffered from a serious ankle injury and that he could not play in the match in question despite being cleared to do so by the team.

On Thursday, Brown released text messages allegedly from Arians and Tom Brady’s personal trainer Alex Guerrero, and posted them on social media. Soon after, the Buccaneers issued an announcement claiming that Brown was officially freed from his contract. They also dismissed his claims for injury.

Since his release, there have been claims that Brown violated COVID-19 protocols by sneaking a woman into the team’s hotel. Brown took aim at Tom Brady during the Full Send Podcast.

Brown, even though he is no longer with Buccaneers will not face any fines for ripping off his shirt & gloves and throwing them into MetLife Stadium’s stands.
